I plan to be one of the customers of the Raspberry Pi module for personal projects and to buy a few just because it's Akida but in reality, I would only buy what I have a use for and maybe one spare. In my opinion, this isn't a product that needs to be flashy or attractive to any particular audience. The people that will buy it will be buying it because of what it is, not how it looks. Often when I buy related modules they will come with no fancy packaging and usually no branding at all.
IMO, either design looks great and it wouldn't effect any of the target customer's amount being purchased!
