Companies only need to report at least twice a year.
Speculative companies need to report quarterly, I think, just to make sure they will still be a going concern pre profit.
I haven't owned shares in a profitable company, in a loonng time...
So I was wrong here.
Why do companies report twice a year? ASX-listed companies must report their financial results to shareholders at least twice a year, within two months of the end of their balance sheet date. ... Not all companies report during these periods as not all have balance sheet dates at the end of June.
