Honestly these so-called journos either have NFI or are being wilfully deceitful.
A couple weeks back the talking point was (lazy AF) R&D comparisons. Not the money spent on neuromorphic computing specifically of course, just the quick google kitchen sink spend of tech giants versus our extremely focused development costs. Why even bother? What’s the point, other than trying to trick fast readers and slow thinkers that we’re incapable of beating established players to the punch?
Well guess what? It’s already happened.
Renesas has purchased IP. MegaChips has purchased IP. Mercedes-effing-Benz has showcased Akida in a preview of their next generation.
Why? Because it’s here, it works and it’s outstanding.
