IBM has actually been working on Neural Network chips for 22 years

However, Learning does not happen on the TrueNorth chip. IBM's TrueNorth uses code (corelets) developed by programmers in a Software development environment which simulates the TrueNorth hardware. These corelets are then loaded onto the TrueNorth.

I continue to be surprised by the people who can't work out the potential value in AZK & BrainChip shares. On the one hand you have the Mining Asset sales, on the other you have the potential of the Brainchip.
Peter has a history of Developing and Selling IT Patents, Hardware and Software (notable that some of them were bought by IBM). He found that Neural Network software implementations were too slow and has focused on hardware development. In IT, Hardware & Software are usually interchangeable. Look at SoftPC which which started out by virtualising a whole Windows PC in Mac Software. These days VMWare & Microsoft emulate PCs using Software together with Hardware Virtualisation features built-into today's CPUs because it's faster than a pure software solution. Those Virtualisation features were ADDED to CPUs because there's money in Virtualising PCs & Servers. What would people have said about that possibility when SoftPC first appeared on Macs?
