Yes there are some things that could be problematic about AGI however the invention of the wheel which most people never give a second thought too permitted cannon to be drawn at speed behind horses to battle grounds where loaded with chain and shot they tore through infantry troops caused shocking injuries and death.
Putting those same wheels on a hospital trolley, a wheel chair or an ambulance and they improved lives.
The great positive out of having BrainChip ahead in this race to AGI is that with all their faults democracies have the best chance of introducing AGI in a way that will benefit society and promote as far as possible appropriate checks and balances.
My opinion only DYOR.
