As I said previously, it is my opinion that Northrop Grumman may take BrainChips IP and bolt on a supercharger in the form of a "neuromorphic superconducting core"
specifically, from BrainChips original patent on "Autonomous learning dynamic artificial neural computing device and brain inspired system"
https://patents.google.com/patent/US8250011B2/en
this is where the work was completed on the Northrop Grumman patent:
https://patents.google.com/patent/US11157804B2/en
in the research they mention hardware that could add support for 'online-learning':
"A block diagram of an example hardware implementation of Spike-Time Dependent Plasticity (STDP) that was inspired by Cassidy et al. (2013a). This hardware could allow BrainFreeze to support on-line learning."
But we already know some hardware IP they could utilise to add support for online learning.....
Would appreciate a second opinion @BarrelSitter
