the big piece of this research is a closed loop system powered by a neuromorphic chip - the first time it's ever been done.
Nicolas Oros is one of the inventors listed on Akida patents and was the driving force behind the robotics program at UCI
so even if it'sa truenorth chip, the brains behind the research is Brainchip and the connection persists with Northrop grumman as evidenced by their current interest in Brainchip's social media activities.
