Cross trades are part and parcel of the market.
You would do the same if you had the money and wisdom to create the algorithm.
Market makers also use it to create volume so we can buy shares at market.
As to regulation of these, you can talk to your local member of parliament about that. I do not control ASX.
As to today's buyer becoming tomorrow's seller - what is wrong with that?
Do you think you can dictate how you can ask other people to buy and sell, just like you do it on the forums?
