I am sure even the most naïve of investors could differentiate between a well-thought-out solution for a specific problem and a technology leader bringing potentially life-changing, patented advances to market.

No disrespect to the Buddy team, in any way. They have identified a market space and had the nimbleness and key business skills to exploit that opportunity rapidly. But trying to compare that achievement with the Bill Gates "10 Microsofts" outcome awaiting the big winners in the AI race...that's so much a different conundrum....apples and oranges certainly don't do the attempted comparison justice!
