For what it is worth I used to moan about companies failing to keep me informed. I don't any more as I have come to realise that the board usually have good reasons for deciding what to tell and it comes down to your confidence in the board. Moreover the ASX rules are in place. It can be a fine line deciding what to say, and if in doubt, saying nothing is the best course. The system is not perfect, but I think you have to DYOR to decide whether you are confident and the the best way to do that is to attend an AGM and see them face to face. In the case of BRN I'm ok.
