I suppose it depends on your timeline and holding costs. I understand one of Plato's red flag for BRN was the high cost of shorting.

I would hope by now BRN holders would be completely aware that BRN is currently not producing revenue, and probably won't for some time. If you are building a gold mine you don't have revenue until you sell the gold, even if you have a stack of gold in the vault.

I also expect that people look at the price chart before investing, with the hope of not buying a falling stock. So I expect there are a number of people just waiting for the price signal before investing. It also appears to me the price chart is a result of tactical short selling mopping up the dollar cost averagers and casual buyers. But on a price signal expect something like 4ds.

I would be surprised if tree shaking will trigger any stop loss selling.

Does anyone know of any technical articles critical of Akida?. I understand Intel was quite concerned with some of BRN's patents. Look at BRN's technical partners. Would they bother with BRN if it couldn't deliver? With the ARM ipo I would be surprised if ARM didn't consider a takeover with BRN.

The fools reckon shorting BRN is a reasonable idea, but I reckon the Gardners would be all in BRN as they favor stocks with high growth potential and long-term potential for appreciation

If you actually know something about BRN and consider how much lower it can go and the possible up side perhaps you would realise shorters have a real possibility of large losses.
