Well then the question is does it have to have the ability to recognise letter and shapes prior to sending the data or it can be done by "just sending the data/signal" without any interpretation? Surely one must have a great reason to actually implement this recognition function in the pen.
I mentioned cloud because it may be required when it comes to remote teaching or some sort.
