The ASX has cracked down on companies making fluff announcements via the ASX company announcement channel. Anything that could be construed as "marketing" rather than a material announcement just doesn't get let past the gatekeepers at the ASX. So BRN is sticking to the meat and potatoes - board appointment/resignations, quarterlies, new share issues etc etc.
That said, I would have thought the successful tapeout of a new chip for a company like BRN would meet the definition of market significant.
However, surely, posting on a company website is more than adequate market information for anymore that is a moderately competent investor?
