Actually got to have a look at the original post, after shareman intentionally trying to get off-topic - and I see now for good reason (not good for short sellers)!

Very good find! Looks like won't be long before Akida IP will be found in smart phones via Prophesee and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

One note however - I don't think it will be in iPhones immediately as it looks like Apple use their own inferior product for their image processing.

In a nutshell, Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max top-of-the-line smartphone models use their own image processor as a part of the A16 Bionic SoC (which allows for a 48MP main camera), where as Android smartphones using the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 have up to 200MP capability. Apple are very far behind still, even with their brand new released SoC they use.

Motorola have been using Snapdragon 8 Gen1 and a lot of other Android-based smartphones. And in that video that was posted, it looks like Sony will now be using the Snapdragon 8 Gen2, which looks to include the Prophesee imaging technology (ie. AKIDA).

Qualcomm also have a partnership with Samsung developing next gen camera technology. IMO, this most certainly will include Prophesee's image processing tech (ie. AKIDA). You simply don't create 'next gen camera technology' and cap the frame rate to 30-60fps like every other camera... Definition of next-gen is next generation - IE. NO capped framerate via Prophesee and AKIDA. Motion blur will be a thing of the past. Revolutionary for the image processing space.

Apple are so far behind the ball with this - I wouldn't be surprised if they do end up using the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 soon though.
