I have watched the inquiries. I agree they don't quite comprehend how any of it works. I recall one of the senators last week basically asking Jack Dorsey a tech support question because he was unable to use twitter. The thing is that they haven't imposed any law changes yet and at the moment it's just fact finding. They should be trying to gain a better understanding of AI now before it's too late.
