Cognimem appear to be selling Neuromem's chip, currently $94 a chip (USD ?), 1024 Neurons

BrainChip appears to be in a different market compared to NeuroMem, enabling a potential lower price point for the resulting hardware

"...BrainChip designs technology that would be difficult and expensive for its proposed partners’ R&D teams to develop for themselves. It is likely to be more cost effective for BrainChip’s proposed partners to license the technology from BrainChip than to develop it internally. The design of a processor or a library of physical IP requires a large amount of R&D investment and expertise. BrianChip will also charge a once off Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) fee to research, design, develop and test new products..."

As per my earlier post, BrainChip have already implemented a Proof Of Concept of some of their Designs in hardware using FGPA hardware
