One main difference i can see between  brainchip and truenorth is that truenorth  is not learning so it can not be considered AI and if you read about truenorth they never clam it is AI they just say it can do human like tasks, yes it does have lots of x and y but its still running software other words been programed to do human  like tasks .

Peter has built a prototype chip that  is showing signs of AI because it learns, also what Peter is producing is considered commercially viable although i don't consider this to be Peter's end game. From everything  i read about him and brainchip i think his passion and determination are set on making a computer that learns and thinks like a robot so to speak kind of like jarvis from ironman movie.

Read Peters comment at the bottom page very interesting .
I think he wrote the book to try funding his idea for brain chip.

I can't  stop reading about this since last week.
