i see a use case in toys like Ankis Cozmo, or their race car game
any device that requires facial ecognition or other learning applications at the edge. Toys that require internet connections to function are basically useless.. same for robo vacs etc. IoT has a major security/privacy issue and neuromorphic chips will fix this.
Akida in routers or modems could potentially detect malware before it hits a device. I think this is of interest to Cisco.
the chip will cost 10 dollars and is generic, so they can pump out thousands for different applications.
