Fair question sinic. But I think the answer is blatantly clear.
BRN sacked the established sales team in order to focus the $$ on the Akida development. They are not in a position today to sell onesies and twosies.
The host of NDA's are not with ma and pa. They are with transnationals/OEM's who will hopefully license the technology and buy the chips. Or embed the technology within their hardware - eg a Chinese cell phone. Etc
And if Akida performs near spec, meaning it will be the first chip on the edge, for the edge, the value of those licenses should be humungous.
