Have you seen some of the other videos BRN have put out? Seem to fall in to 2 categories, amateur and professional. The one shot learning videos are all the former. Could argue that it is on purpose to demonstrate how easy the tech is to use. Take a photo of a new object, label it and add it to your data set, no bells or whistles required.
As for advertising and promotion, plenty going on at the moment. The marketing machine has been winding up since the closing stages of the LDA call last month(hmm?). The hardware summit, paid for online articles, online interviews with Anil & Rob. Expecting more to come.
