Not really. Industry standard for fmcg is 1 to 5%. Obj are getting 2 to 3%.
An upfront payment is normal. Obj had pf pay for the development and continue to spend a certain amount per year otherwise the license is cancelled. So again evens out.
Also cash is about 6 months behind product releases
