A few housekeeping matters first;
I'm an enthusiastic new Hobartian. I started this thread after reading the original article on ABC online.
I don't have an official affiliation with either TFL or Brand Tasmania.
Todd Babiac was appointed CEO of Brand Tasmania in May, 2019.
Fransina Kennedy secured the role of Partner Engagement Coordinator for Brand Tasmania in December, 2019.
The Brand Tasmania Act 2018 was passed in December of that year;

The TFL MD/CEO is Jane Bennett;

Alexander (Sandy) Beard (ex ASX;CVC CEO) was appinted Non-Executive Director in March, 2018;
http://www.tasfoods.com.au/board-key-management
CVC became a substantial shareholder of TFL in January, 2018.

In 2015/16 TFL tried & failed to acquire VDL/Woolnorth. Moon Lake Investments was the ultimate purchaser;
https://mobile.abc.net.au/news/2016...tes-sale-completion-vdl-dairy-company/7290442
Kresta Holdings/Moon Lake Investments have been recruiting in Tasmania recently.
On December 13, 2019 the Dairy code od conduct was launched, guaranteeing a farm gate floor price for milk;
https://www.abc.net.au/news/rural/2019-12-13/dairy-code-of-conduct-launched/11796000
The sale of BAL was approved by FIRB November, 2019;
https://hotcopper.com.au/threads/ann-scheme-receives-firb-approval.5075422/#.XfO17NZ_U68
BAL was known to import milk/powdered milk.
Fresh milk sales account for only 6% of production (Tasmania);

So there's all the facts. I've cherry picked and synthesized points to suit my narrative, which is subjective, and therefore only an opinion.
On balance, there's a shortfall in the most basic commodity our export markets desire, which we can plug. There's a knowledge gap in the more value add markets where TFL can excel and where the state government has a pent up impetus to collaborate.
As a holder you're within your rights to pick up the phone and ask the tough questions. From memory you have other dairy interests so might be a conduit between management and HC?
Enjoy the weekend
