i spoke to mathew white at bdl last week and he said that they were in discussions with several financiers and banks .he said that bdl was refocusing on there australian contracting business and that the pcf business was basicaly going to have to be cut back to basics no new r and d and would be a break even situation this comingfinancial year .i couldnt get any indication either positive or negative from the tone of the conversation on whether bdl can survive .however there are no rumours localy [i live close by] about bdl going under no talk of outstanding accounts with local businesses. so we sit and wait .local brokers i have spoken to seem to think that bdl will get either a rights issue or a convertible note issue away.most of them had bdl as a spec buy . bdl is 2% of my portfolio so if it does go it will be irritating but not the end of the world. wrongway
