You can put it whichever way you like mate, Appen is not making a loss, has not debt and have been investing in growth.
If you talk about EPS, here are some numbers to looks at -
APX
Mkt Cap - $1.1bEPS - 38.5c
Forward EPS - 46c
WTC
Mkt Cap - $17.4b
EPS - 35c
Forward EPS - 49c
XRO
Mkt Cap - $20.4b
EPS - 12.1c
Forward EPS - -2c
ALU
Mkt Cap - $4.5b
EPS - 35.5c
Forward EPS - 55c
I am not saying that APX deserves to be at WTC's or XRO's valuation, however numbers are sometimes just numbers and mean nothing when the market sentiment is high or low on something. Look at the travel industry. FLT is flying even after making 0.5b losses.
If you like the current risk reward offered by APX, you should take position. Otherwise happy for you to list where you are invested so we can get some insight into your investment acumen.
