I only mentioned investing in cryptocurrency as it was an example that would likely be understood here. FWIW, I don't own any cryptocurrency.
The original question was about my motivation and whether I had FOMO or regret for not investing. I admit that of course there is some, but in terms of scale there are other decisions that would have earnt me significantly more money.
Buying into APX early on may have provided a profit of $1Mil.
Buying into cryptocurrency would have provided significantly more profit.
However, the largest opportunities I've had have been in business. I view these as significantly greater in value.
