You are mirroring exactly what the so-called “down-rampers” in your view, are saying. You’re just spinning it differently.
The essence is all that you say is true, but the trajectory of the SP is continuing down if the status quo prevails. If (and only if) they produce a good report, needing to have addressed all the factors (or at least some) that put Appen in this position, THEN the stock price will start to climb once public confidence improves. This seems less likely than the status quo in the short to medium term. How is this not exactly what everyone else has been saying just approached from the opposite perspective.
