If it’s Bolsonaro with the military it may well assist by forcing a change or full abandonment of new environmental regulations designed to prevent more tailings disaster’s & restrict new mines from being developed etc. Vale would love that. The locals who lose their lives not so much,

There does seem to be a latent fear of a coup d’ état in Brazil since the 64’ one. I have read some stories in 21 he was planning to do it.
Democracy is how should we say a little different in Brazil. That said, at least he didn’t try a Scott Morrison’s impression of Xi Jining by appointing himself to the whole cabinet secretly and basically try to become the supreme leader.
