you are also assuming the other 45% is still profitable which they are not, BHP is likely to be subsidizing their copper and petroleum divisions with the cash flow from iron ore. Historically BHP does not receive the full 62% Platts, there is also a discount, so your margin is probably 5 rather than 9.
