breach of copyright is theft

It is apparent that some posters are breaching copyright by publishing information from subscription newsletters from Portphilip Publising, and especially Diggers & Drillers, including analyses and stock recommendations by Dr Alex Cowie.

Postings on HotCopper sites for TRY, DML, etc. contain typical examples of such breaches.

These breaches of copyright are plain theft of information. If you want the information yourself, then subscribe to the newsletters, as I do.

Also,it potentially places HotCopper in a situation where it could be sued for providing recommendations regarding stocks to buy or sell. HotCopper is not stock broker or advisor.

Hence, I would ask all members of HotCopper to desist from these unlawful practices, and also, not deseminate or participate in any post which does.
