I have always been served pretty well by the mainstream news in Australia (generally) for my whole life, including during this whole covid thing...Up until old mate Gladys said something akin to: "if you're unvaccinated, your days for freedoms are numbered.". I think it was said on the day she said she was not going to be updating the public every day from now on. This may have single-handedly been the statement that had me looking elsewhere for insight, and not just the laws they're bent on introducing. It's pushed me to question the wider picture anew (same for many people lately too, it seems). It's not about looking for things that confirm my belief It's about looking for a balanced insight. I have not seen that at all in the mainstream media over the last week or so.In fact, there is hardly anywhere a balanced discussion can take place lately, and I'm glad they're keeping it alive and well here.
