    We have a bread-maker which we use mainly to make pizza bases. The therapeutic benefits of hand-kneaded bread is amazing. You not only use a few more muscles, you can add whatever flour, grains, chia etc, you like and the kneading is almost meditative for me. The end result certainly is denser than the bought product but is infinitely more satisfying. My sourdough efforts still need a bit more work though.
