If Newcrest took another 5% of Antipa then there may be a positive share price reaction because a takeover might be anticipated. Clearly any takeover will be made at a premium to the existing share price. 15% does not automatically give anyone a board seat but that may happen, I suspect if the current board wants the company to remain independent then a board seat would not be offered.

Once 20% is reached the company can only increase this amount via a takeover offer or via creep provisions if I recall correctly.

Minyari ore processed at Telfer would save a few jobs there. If the capital markets become difficult to access due to fear created by a market and/or commodity price drop then Telfer becomes the only real processing option by default.
