So the current market cap is still carrying almost a billion dollars worth of goodwill and brand value, rather nebulous assets. Not exactly reassuring, though I still think it's a buy on the basis of being oversold.
It really makes me wonder though, how my broker's retail analyst managed to see 'value' in Myer at $4.10. What a joke.
I'm a busy person. I don't have the time or expertise to analyse huge companies like Myer, so I leave it to experts who are paid to do it full time. I won't be doing so again.
