    Hi Albaman, just a quick note on your query re mining tax. The mining tax (MRRT) only applies to iron ore and coal, so the only taxes which gold miners pay are normal company tax (30% on nett profits - not a problem for most goldies), and a State royalty on production or ore mined (varies state to state, but not a major cost factor).
