It should be easy but surveying of holes pre GPS in areas like Paroo station could lack the precision required to readily locate them now. Even if the coordinates are accurate 35 years of neglect offers many possible ways to obliterate any evidence of a collar.

Even with GPS the 'Datum' used needs to be recorded so that the same system is used to relocate a point or a conversion factor input.
If you plot data into google earth using a different GPS datum the points are not going to be accurate.
This link and other posts in the thread show the importance of getting your datum correct.
Excuse my focus on GPS Datum but it is something worth being aware of IMO when plotting data.
I agree with you if the original composite assays are accurate then Tabac will probably be a Tier 1 deposit with potentially multiple commodities. Something of this magnitude seems almost too good to be true so I await reliable drill assays with crossed fingers and toes.
