One thing we’ve perhaps not accounted for is one-off revenue made this quarter from all the Teams deployment and professional support services work they did as COVID hit.
In the last quarterly call they said they’d yet to receive any of the revenue for the services work done March and was expected to be received in Q4.
In addition to this, in their recent brand consolidation, they broke out “expertise and support” into its own branded segment, LiveTiles Pro. This suggests to me that this is a high on-going priority for them. It makes me wonder if revenue generated from this services line is fairly substantial, but doesn’t fit in the standard ARR reporting metric. It could explain why they’re holding numbers till the 4C so the market can see the full picture, rather than making quick assumptions based on previously used metrics.
