breakeven point at the lance u3o8 project

Interesting going back through some old reports.

I read that a suitable payback period for uranium stocks is preferably less than 3 years. The shorter the payback period the more incentive to develop the mine, as it limits the time the capital is at risk.

Interestly enough Pens estimated life on the Lance project is 10 years and an estimated payback period of a little over one year, once in production.

Imo Pen is certainly looking one of the better placed companies in that respect, as far as attracting a major backer to fund the project.
