Whilst one can't argue that CB has technically two months to grant an extension should that be the decision, why would MMX then continue to burn through its cash by continuing on their current work, without getting some assurance that they still have exclusivity after lodging a request 2 months ago?
It's time for CB to man up and make a decision after such extended period - do we have a project or not. Sitting on a fence playing deaf is no better positioning politically than having to respond to ongoing media inquiries and speculation once and for all.
