It's just the pattern they have learnt from Trump. He attacked the MSM from day, then complains of poor treatment at their hands. He attacks fellow members of the Republican party, then complains when they don't do his bidding.
He is a bully who moans about the consequences of his own actions.
All his defeats have been as a result of his own hubris.
Rather than use diplomacy, detente, and conciliation to build alliances with people he needed, he has acted like a bull in a china shop - then complained when he can't get his way.

His supporters love it. They love the swagger. They love the attack dog approach, where we all say whatever we think and to hell with the consequences. That's how they want society to be (they see the alternative as 'politically correct Lefty bs'). It is an arrogant and ignorant approach that isn't smart and doesn't reflect the need to not put would-be allies offside with appalling behaviour.

The thing is, one day it is "to hell with the consequences".....but then blame everyone else when there are consequences. Reasonable and rational people see it for what it is: a failure to act like a true leader, or even a decent human being.
