au contraire, Aussiejoe. You see, the Chinese are in Africa, and other countries, sourcing energy and resources. Where they have settled and become involved with the country, they are actually building the community's infrastructure.
They are contributing to the well being of the people by agreeing to do this for them from the begining whilst buying their needs.

The Yanks on the other hand are so arrogant, where they have on shore and off shore interests, the locals are forbidden to go near the area. Farmers can't farm the land, fisherman and communities that have survived from the sea, can longer launch boats from their beach. Why? Because paranoid Yanks who have treated third world countries with contempt know they are now a target. Why, purely because of their arrogance, which is contributing to their downfall.

You don't see Chinese acting in this manner in Australia when visiting companies and mines.
They act with respect for the people they are dealing with.

I have dealt with oil executives from America, Holland even the UK. I have also dealt with Australians in the industry. Most of the above are so overwhelmed with their own self-belief and importance of being the most powerful and privileged bunch on the planet, they seldom socialise outside of their industry because they are quite nauseating. And they know it.

Give me Chinese with fried rice anyday.
