Majority of the infections in Australia are from passengers arriving from overseas. Some are already infected when they arrive and some get sick shortly after arriving. In fact, there was even 1 case recently where a passenger tested negative when she arrived but subsequently developed symptoms and tested positive 14 days later. Doesn't that increase the likelihood that she potentially caught it from someone else on the plane as there were apparently other passengers on that plane who tested positive upon arrival? In the end, it's what the media chooses to report and how they choose to report it...

Commonsense would tell you that hundreds of people stuck in confined spaces like an aeroplane is a recipe for disaster especially for a virus as contagious as Covid-19.

We would all know if a passenger onboard a QF flight infected a member of the public. We would all know about it. The media would be all over it. If there's one thing the media love, is bashing Qantas.
