As kid of the Goldie, who spent much time pounding the black lines of Palm Beach- Currumbin pool, this will be a boon for the expansive sporting community of SE Qld and Australia , especially the watersports.

So all young kids, aim high and train hard.

I can only imagine how revved up me ol' mate Laurie Lawrence must be, hope he's still around to see it.
