    Hi 2020,

Now this is NEWS and should put some REAL FIRE under the Biota SHARE PRICE!!!!

look at these couple of sentences from the article:

" Earlier sequences created a trend of an increasing frequency of reported sequences with H274Y, but the latest report suggests that the trend is quickly moving toward fixing H274Y in pandemic H1N1, as was seen in seasonal flu.

H274Y produces resistance in Tamiflu as well as Peramivir, which leaves Relenza as the only approved antiviral unaffected by H274Y or S31N in M2."

Read again: THIS LEAVES RELENZA AS THE ONLY APPROVED ANTIVIRAL UNAFFECTED BY H274Y OR S31N IN M2.

It looks like we are now close to reaching the point in Japan, where Tamiflu is becoming obsolete and useless.

Even against the newly released and approved Peramivir, which imho, will be THE antiviral with the shortest live span regarding resistance.

So we have now only Relenza for this HUGE Japanese antiviral market and soon Lani, once approved and released.

This will be excellent for Relenza sales, and will basically garantee that the 90 million dishhalers will be sold as soon as they are produced.

And that means that we have our $130 million a year on royalties already in the pocket.

Future possible Rotahaler sales will be the cream on the cob.

And the big question will be, how long before this resistance will spread outside the Japanese borders??????

It could be faster then we expect, so hold onto your heads.

Great news for Biota , Relenza and Lani, and excellent news for us shareholders, as we can expect a re-rating to much higher levels, to reflect the huge influx of royalties in the next few years.

We are in the process of getting closer to the drivers seat and have started to move Tamiflu aside.
Soon we will kick Tamiflu out of the cabine and have the market to ourselves with the huge earnings attached to it, that Gilead had got used to receive year after year.

Good luck guys and thanks 2020 to share that excellent article with us.

    jojo
