Last year I read a true story regarding a man whose young child was dying from a brain tumour and suffering greatly with nausea and vomiting. The father was desperate to alleviate the child's distress as medically prescribed anti-emetics had proven useless,so he syringed THC into the child's feeding tube. Not only was the child able to begin eating normally again, but the tunour also shrank into non-existence.

Regarding the protection to the lungs, this is not new knowledge, but has simply been hidden away for many years.

THC has also been linked to a reduction in metastasis of cancer cells.

The same can be said in relation to an association between cannabis use and schizophrenia. My niece currently has a fellowship in psychiatry and has said that this is nonsense, simply media propaganda. It is considered however that those destined to suffer schizophrenia may have an earlier onset due to cannabis use.

Jesus is supposed to have anointed his disciples with olive oil. Great for salads and cooking, but hardly a sacred oil, unlike cannabis.

Cannabis oil would have been meaningless to the Elizabethan academics who translated the original scriptures from Aramaic, Hebrew and Greek attuned to the wishes of King James. These translations were taken from previous compilations made by the Jewish Masoretes and others who had compiled the scriptures from multiple, but similar myths/stories. In other words the scriptures have changed over time and can not necessarily be relied on as 'gospel'.
