Interesting trevally.
I have been a regular smoker for over 30 years now. (Both legal & not).
Last month I had surgery. In taking the temp/pulse, they also included % Oxygen in blood.
For who would be regarded as a heavy smoker, my oxygen level was regularly at 98%, the lowest it hit once was 96%.
I admit I was surprised, and had expected worse.
Anyone else?
