Cmon Freebeer, even I am not that pessimistic! The thing is still in a compelling spot so really do think it can get there running off the back of others next door like Genel, Cairn etc.
My view is that the sign off is really not that important to the price , a fait accompli so really do not see the fuss..it will be done as it is in heaven!
The price IMO was and is way down on PVD for all good reasons connected to MANAGEMENT and no need to go further I am too sure.
I know it is only rumour and not to pull the trigger before the rest of the squad BUT if they lose those NT/WA blocks for nix when MEO have done such a great deal next door with Origin then it just shows the reality of it all once again.
I put too much in I admit and have paid for it in frustration with IMO crazy latent abusive managemnt and the majority of my money will go elsewhere asap as I believe the 2ND thing for any chance of success is good strong management and BOD... The stinking share market is too risky and too dodgy for anything less as far as I am concerned.
Their intended focus only on Africa is IMO misguided when everything they had here was a good alternative and there will be very likely commercial gas in those blocks for which is definitely a market for as the Blacktip is only metres from TPT block. Origin think its a good bet and I believe in the professionalism of Origin ENI Santos and others before TPT ..sorry there!
Clearly I can NOT for the air I breathe see how anyone could come to an oppsite view about them. I find it most interesting about myself and the contrast to many that people accept this crap! All be it the thing will march on with most of mine out and think it is going well enough to get there pretty soon. The trigger being pulled back atm Good luck always! Ave
