Honestly 8 years is a long time holding anything, let alone the roller coaster that A2M has been. Sometimes it can just be good to close one chapter and open a new one. On that note, I just realised it has been 10 years for me this year. I can certainly relate to the feeling that A2 takes up more of my attention and focus than it probably warrants. I know at some point I'll pull the plug on my remaining holding as well for this reason more than anything else.
Whichever way you go I doubt that you will regret your decision. There are absolutely better investments elsewhere. But for me A2M and the space in which it operates is something I've come to understand better over the years, much better than other industries, and I have conviction in the current management and strategy. They came up with a strategy in 2021 - four years ago now - and they are still executing against it and still on track to meet their target they came up with then. I think they are doing a very good (not excellent) job and that this unequivocally reflected in the underlying financial turnaround of the company. The SP turnaround has been slow, but in my view that has been more to do with the market skepticism about A2M than its actual objective performance in the face of that.
But why am I still trying to sell you on A2M?? I need to learn to switch off
