Pete - they haven't clarified that - but I assume it will not be franked - as that would have been a huge selling point to omit. So maybe the cost base of your units will be reduced by the capital return, and no tax payable until you sell??? Best case - am not an accountant who keeps tabs on these things - so don't rely on me.
