There was an interesting article in the NT News on the weekend.
Site security makes it unable to be C&P'd but it concened SANTOS Gallagher and the Beetaloo. If you don't know, Santos are involved with Tamboran in same region.
He went on to say how excited they were about the basin but that they were hesitant about further investment due to being punch drunk (my words) from the environmentalism against their Barossa project.
He went on to talk about how investment in fossil fuels in Oz was currently being withheld due to these pressures and risks.
Overall I got the opinion that Santos is still very much interested in the Beetaloo, but with several of their projects under fire from green groups, a la Barossa, Narrabri, their just playing NT down for the moment.
What's going on with the EDO adverse publicity atm might be a welcome shot in the arm for international interest in our sector.
