Santos got publicity over last few days for being the first Aus company to begin supplying commercial shale gas.

There was also a report out during the week saying "You're going to have a rise of maybe up to about five to eight times in the amount of cost for Australian households in their gas use if this policy is pursued, because the international gas price will be the new market price in Australia, and that will have a significant impact on our gas bills."
